Dr. Andrew Buergo

Veterinarian

Dr. Andrew Buergo is the owner of Compassion Veterinary Hospital, he received his bachelors degree from the University of Florida. He went on to study Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthews University and finished at Purdue University, graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in June 2014. When not at the office Dr. Andy enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys visiting theme parks and watching sports when not working. He is very dedicated to the clients and patients of CVH and will continue to serve the community to the best of his ability.

Amanda Buergo

Office Manager/Owner

Amanda has been a part of Compassion Veterinary Hospital since 2017. She began as a receptionist; while loving the client communication side of things, she then trained as a technician and loved the patient care aspect. Amanda graduated Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and family when not at work.

Samantha Desangles

Receptionist

Sammy is one of our head receptionists! She has a passion and love for both clients and animals. Sammy has been with Compassion Veterinary Hospital for five months. She enjoys spending time with her family and regularly attends Welcome Church in Lake City, Fl. when she isn’t greeting our clients at the front desk. Sam has one son named Gabriel and two fur babies, Sarge and Nya.

Trystan Barnish

Receptionist/Technician

Trystan is from South Florida, moved to Lake City three years ago to give her horses room to run on her own property. She started working at Compassion Veterinary Hospital in 2021 as a technician and is now learning the side of reception. She loves spending time with her family, going mudding and riding horses.

Jessica Robison

Technician

Jessica has been in Lake City since 1996 and has been an animal lover all of her life. She has been in the veterinary field for about 6 years. She began her journey in reception and then transitioned to the role of technician. In her spare time Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and personal pets. She enjoys crafting on the side as well.

Carson Robison

Receptionist

Carson is from Lake City, Florida and has been a part of the Compassion Veterinary Hospital team since 2020. Carson is a receptionist and loves to make our clients feel as welcomed as possible. She treats our clients as if they are friends or family. When Carson is not at work, she is spending time with her family and pets.

Bianca Farnsworth

Technician

Bianca is from Bradenton, Florida and moved to Lake City in 2013. She has been a part of Compassion Veterinary Hospital since 2024. She is a veterinary technician and enjoys working with different types of animals each day. She likes spending her free time being a homebody with her four dogs and one cat.

Zena Morse

Technician

Zena began her journey here at Compassion Veterinary Hospital in 2021. She is a veterinary technician and really enjoys taking care of every patient that she assists the doctors with.

Zena has many pets of her own which includes, reptiles and even guinea pigs. She likes to spend her time with her husband and animals when she is not at CVH.

Alexis Howell

Technician

Alexis is from Lake City, Florida and began working at Compassion Veterinary Hospital in 2022. She is veterinary technician and enjoys the small and large animals that she encounters. Alexis loves spending her free time riding her horses, hanging out with her dogs, saltwater fishing and living her simplistic, county lifestyle.

Eadie Turner

Technician

Eadie began at Compassion Veterinary Hospital as a technician since 2023. She loves interacting with the clients and patients. She has many furry friends of her own which include, horses, bunnies, fish, dogs and cats. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of Florida. Eadie hopes to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and be as amazing as both of our doctors.
